Arbor Heights Elementary is a great! school!! As a parent volunteer and part time staff member, I was able to get special insight on how this school is operated. The teachers, staff, and students are absolutely exceptional! The building is very new and interior design is well thought out. The teachers are passionate about helping students and the kids are encouraged to problem solve but bullying is not tolerated. Therefore, students are generally respectful toward each other. The office staff members especially Tracy & Karen are the kindest people you could possibly hope for! We love Arbor Heights!

Arbor Heights offers a rich STEM-based curriculum with programs rooted in environmental science. This EStem theme can be felt throughout the campus from artwork to the ecologically-friendly building and native plant landscaping to the curriculum themes centered on school-wide project themes like the salmon raising and release program. Staff and teachers work in complement to each other and with families to provide a caring and rich education for all students. Equity and diversity are important and fostered here as well. We love AHE!

We have been at Arbor Heights for 3 years now (K-2) and just successfully completed a full year of remote learning. We are impressed on many levels from Principle Collins commitment to her students, teachers, staff and AH parents and community. Principle Collins, her teachers and staff made an effort to personally know our son and our family and have shown their commitment and support to our sons unique personality. AH Elementary has continuously embraced diversity on all levels, Provided education around relevant and important topics relating to minorities within our history. We have been extremely impressed. Principle Collins works tirelessly on equity for all (to the best of her abilities) especially during remote learning this pass year. This was an extremely rough time for everyone but our family and student felt completely supported during this year.

My child has been attending Arbor Heights for 2 years now. We have been very pleased with this school. The principal, Ms. Collins, goes above and beyond for the students, teachers and parents. The teachers we've had so far have been amazing.

I am so pleased with this school. We are new this year and my 2nd grader could not be happier. The staff are always smiling and working with kids and parents for the best education possible.

all 4 of my grandchildren have gone or is still going to AH, I have been most impressed with the care of each student by all the teachers. I have one child with learning disabilities and have been equally impressed. Parent participation has been remarkable and shows this is a very happy environment and happy children make happy parents and in turn happy teachers. I do think the seattle school district could do a lot better with the lunch program, better food and not so many carbs more decent protein,

My daughter goes to Arbor Heights and I am really happy. Two years ago there was a different principal and she was not good at all. A new principal came in last year after parents demanded it and she is excellent. The principal makes all the difference. There is lots of parent involvement. Very happy.
