I have raised (3) children in this district. One of those attended Bow Lake in early 2000's. I now have a grandchild attending Bowlake. I am very pleased in the staff and the learning experience at Bow Lake. This area has an extremely high demographic differences and I honestly believe this challenge skews the scoring of this school. The strength of learning is dependent on more than just the staff and school district. Parenting needs to be evaluated as well, if you are looking for an honest reflection of academic performance.

Every time there is a school function it is last minute in letting families know and it is usually right after school when working parents are not able to participate. They cater to what seems like only non working families. They do not have any fund raisers for their kids to raise money for their scool. There is no PTA just a group called "P.AC." they encourage all parents to come to meetings but never have them at time where if some one works tI'll 5 would not be able to attend.

this school is a joke they say my daughter doesn't have dyslexia and I went to the doctor and had her tested , she does have dyslexia the special ed teacher will not help her she thinks that it will just go away once you learn how to read so if I was another parent out there I would not be taking my child to the school at all because when does the teacher know better than a doctor.

i used to go to this school!! its lula habtai!!!! am 12 now i went to this school when I was in 1st to 3rd grade its really good school!! and i promise kids will love it!!!

I love the staff and very nice brand new building. My child has problems with reading and the reading intervention specialist has been very supportive and helpful.
