I absolutely LOVE Central Elementary! Since my child started there a year ago, I have had nothing but good things to say about Central. The teachers at Central have given me and my child so much support and I know that they truly care about their students! And the few times I have had to interact with the administration at the school, they have always been so nice and kind. I wouldn't want my child to go anywhere else! Keep up the good work Central!

I am being forced to withdraw my child which is in special education from school from employees principal teacher assistant teacher and more. I being questioned about my personal business. They popped up at my house without authorization. They withdraw my son without my consent from school without my signature and tried to withdraw him again this Friday. I take him to school and pick him up everyday from school myself. This is not right and my son and daughters are witnesses to this. Basically they mention calling the police on my son while at school. Assistant principal also said that he can not remain in the school. I am stressed out just as well as my son. We are drained and is fighting to continue his education there till the end of the school mid year ending. We are being denied and my son will most likely have to withdraw without having an education for the time being. I have gotten snappy attitudes rolling the eyes forceful demands from school quite a while. It does not make sense to withdraw my son now due to holidays and especially it's the end of the year. Once again the assistant principal states he will never prosper which is not positive and he is better off in another district. My son feels neglected and this is not the first time we have been turned around on denial but from the Dallas oilers football team and the Dallas soldiers football team. This all is not right especially for a special ed student. Autism. My son is able to talk walk see etc. basically seagoville central elementary do not want to deal with my son...

I have to wonder about the five star reviews submitted in the last views months. I can't see how they are true....trying to save face? Considering Toyota did not want to come to Dallas and open their facility because they didn't want the families of their workers in DISD, I mean, WOW. That speaks volumes. Central Elementary is a prime example of that. Rude, careless staff that care more about dress code than anything. About 10% of the teachers actually care - the other 90% are burnt out and just floating along until retirement comes. Neighborhood around the school is in horrible - at Heard Park by the school the police had to put out the mobile security camera trailer. Sad! Seagoville overall is just bad, bad news. Do not walk, RUN away from this school and town!

This school is yet another one of DISD debacles. With Ena Meyers at the helm it truly is the worst school in the district. This principal cares nothing about the teachers or students. Who tells a teacher not that a children's sickness is nothing to call a parent about especially when the nurse is out for the day. Really? A parent doesn't need to know their child had a struggle breathing during the day? What a joke of a principal and so sad to have a turnover of so many good teachers because of her poor leadership. Take your child far away from this place,

This is a great school! My daughter was in private school until I decided to try out this school since it was free and right down the street. I wish I would have brought my children a lot sooner. The staff is great, friendly, and genuinely care about the students education. Ms. Meyers has done a great job of turning the school around for the better. Teachers offer tutoring regularly. They are open to parent ideas and involvement. They have great emergency lock down procedures in place. (I've seen them practice).
