I do not rate my experience high. If your socioeconomic status is adequate, the experience may look different. However, if you come from a low SES background you will be treated like dirt.

Our daughter has had an excellent first two years at Redtail. She loves all her teachers, feels safe, is treated well and is learning a ton! I couldn't ask for more.

Excellent! My child is not white and he had a variety of races in the classes he had at Redtail, of course there were mostly white kids, but that's ok. His teachers were amazing and took the time to give us personal advice on her own time, teachers aren't paid for overtime! The principal knew and interacted in an amazingly supportive way with the special needs kids, I observed that myself. Also, when we had to quickly move into that school everyone from the secretary to the teachers and the principle welcomed my child and helped him through that sudden transition. Thanks Redtail!

If you want to live in almost all white neighborhood and have no diverse culture, this is your school. There some attentive teachers. The way the students are taught is more about individual learning, with multiple testing through the year, and not team/group oriented. Be ready to be a helicopter parent with this school's calendar. If your child forgets gym shoes, library books, etc. on one of the rotating days, the teachers discipline the students using shaming techniques. If you want to be involved in the school leadership, don't get involved with the PTO, unless you enjoy high school girl drama, by woman adults.

How can people post inaccurate posts...Redtail Ridge's staff and administrator are nothing but caring and inclusive of all! Special needs students and students of all cultural backgrounds are all treated fairly! Some people may not like rules or consequences set forth by staff, naming it unfair. I have NEVER known any parent expresses concerns, just love for the school.

If your children are of color you can forget this school. We had a terrible experience at this school and had to pull my children out,, they were being harassed by the teachers and I was harassed by the principal and told we didnt belong and needed to move from Savage area!!!

Great school, reduced groups, teacher leadership and great material. My kid loves Red Tail Ridge and I am very proud that my taxes are being put to work in such an excellent school. I just wish that parents would get more involved.
