The Principal, teachers and most parents are highly involved in the student's education. They have great programs like Meet the Masters where students learn about famous artists and do similar artwork. That program was funded by their own PTA program. They also have wind class, my oldest is playing the clarinet and loves it! They also have a lot of educational field trips where kids get to see what they are learning about. Best school, Best teachers and Best Principal and Vice Principal!!! The Ranking is low only because it's an overall score that they get for all grades. Taking it into consideration that there is a lot of English learner students starting kinder that did not previously attend school. Once you attend the monthly meetings the Principal discusses the growth of each grade level and that's where you see the students improvement by their grade. Highly recommend this school!

This school offers a lot of help for the kids. The teachers are very dedicated in helping before and after school to tutor. Everyone is very friendly plus they have many programs available for the kids!

This school is great! It had the best loving and caring principal I have ever met. All staff and Mr.Klappenback (principal) are so good to the kids. There is so much help for students and there family's who need economical help.For example out back pack program or our uniform program. Students at Garfield are taught daily how to take responsibility for there actions. Great school and great staff that always offer extra help after school.

Constant improving at this school! Teachers are dedicated, and friendly. Actually there are 3 teachers at this school that are TOP RATED in the district. Honestly, not sure why it receives a 2 rating out of 10 since they are improving so much. We like it here very much!

We are excited to be at this school. The teachers are incredibly committed in equipping our children for academic success. Our teachers work with parents in achieving our students' goal. There are so many excellent teachers here that really care about our students success in class, and overall nature. We feel blessed to be able to be a part of this!
