The ladies in the office are nasty to me, but super sweet to the father of my child. The truint officer /SS attendance lady is disrespectful, and has accused me of forgoing a Dr. Note and threatened me for 2 years to take me to court for my child's absences. He is special needs and has 8 Dr's and I have been beyond transparent w every absence and every appt we have had. MY CHILDS Dr's will back me. But Joe Smoe down the street hand writes notes and that is ok. Wow. Bulling is ok w teachers, I was told the principal won't do anything I have the written text to prove it too.Won't be back NEXT YEAR I have dealt w nastiness for 2 years, and I am done w it. Be kind life is rough don't be nice to men be nice to everyone. If they treat me Nasty how do they treat the children? My child would CRY every day before and after school due to the teacher being nasty and a particular few bullies in class the teacher favored. I pray they get it together for the future should be bright and loving because the Corona sure did complicate alot. Fairness is so important. There should be no favoritism at all. None. It's not hard if the ladies don't like the job or being nice, then maybe they should go elsewhere where they don't have to be nice. Over it. Disappointed because I sure am a nice person, that's how God wants us all in these crazy times. It's not that hard. Heck fake it at least.

Excellent! All the teachers and staff are very caring educated supportive informative and seem to genuinely love their job. I wouldnt have my kids go to any other school than Deep River.

I love this school, not because of the beautiful and clean building, but for the warmth and support I get as an employee. I, truly can say it is my home away from home. I've enjoyed this school as a previous student and have been a part of the faculty for 20+ years. All four of my children have attended DRS and did very well.

My son is a new student at Deep River Elementary. I have been extremely impressed with our experience with both the teaching faculty and the administration here. They truly are student centered.

This school puts way too much emphasis on their dress code. This is a public school, not a private school. I would like to see more concern with academics and less on the clothes.
