I’m really disappointed in this school. We went to this school for one year and it’s honestly very disappointing. First they give the kids computers with almost no restrictions. My daughter doesn’t even own a phone which is what we prefer yet they give her a computer and we can’t even opt out because all their school work is on there. So obviously our daughter started getting on things she shouldn’t and things she wouldn’t be able to get on at home. There is so much social media influencing the kids that they honestly don’t need. Then they don’t teach the children accountability with homework. My daughter missed 20+ assignments the first quarter and we didn’t get any notification. Her being a 7th grader we tried to empower her to be more independent so we trusted that when we asked if her work was done, we believed her hence the accumulation of 20+ missing assignments. Then they didn’t deduct points for said late work when she turned it in. In our opinion this is just setting kids up for failure in the future. Then there are kids bullying kids calling them the “N” word and other hurtful comments yet they just get a slap on the wrist. I can’t wait to get my daughters out of this school. By the way I have spoken to two different moms and they said they have gone through similar stuff with this school and one mom actually took their kids out too. I should have gone with my gut and went with a higher rating School but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but I was wrong. Also, unfortunately because my daughter has good grades and is in honor classes. When I went to get my daughter tested for ADHD/ADD the doctor couldn’t go forward because the teachers didn’t write in the questionnaire that she kept missing work and the only reason she had good grades was because we were on top of her. Dang do we have to let our daughter fail to get real results from the teachers. That’s pretty messed up.

Skyline has been a great place for my two daughters. The teachers are really caring and the school looks very nice. I love the open communication from the teachers and my girls have really thrived.

As a parent & professional in the community I beleive great leadership guides good practice. The experience and Profesionalism amongst the teaching staff is outstanding. I appreciate the transparency of the faculty and the open communication I am able to have with my son's teachers. As our son moves into 4th grade I look forward to the quality education provided by this institution.

I believe that most of the teachers at skyline ranch are very well educated and are making a difference, for the better, in their educational process, but I would like to see more support for parents. Some actions were not carried out and ignored.

Mr Haugen and Mrs Potter are clear, prompt, compassionate communicators! They ALWAYS follow up in a timely manor and love their students as they were there own! Outstanding level of integrity and very strong communication skills! This is diffidently an outstanding place for any child to attend! BRAVO ! Its great to be a Bulldog! Best five years my children could ever have! The teachers put fourth SO much effort you would think its ASU ! OUTSTANDING school ! Proud Bulldog Mom

Amazing staff and administration!!! Always go above and beyond for every student.. Kids are also able to have electives such as art, P.E., and music.

The school struggles with a lot of discipline issues that continue to go unresolved by administrators. The school continues to push changes without adequate support for the teachers involved. Certain grade levels have had to wait too long for an extra teacher to be hired by the district when class sizes were out of control.

We just finished our 3rd year at Skyline and love the school. Principal Haugen came to the school 2 years ago and we have seen tremendous positive changes. Principal Haugen and all of the staff are true servant-leaders, are there for the students and proactive in all issues. I highly recommend this school.

We were skeptical at first with some word of mouth information about the school when we moved to the area, but we are so glad we went with our guts and chose this school! My children attending Skyline Ranch. Everyone is so friendly, the teachers we've had are amazing, and they love what they do, it shows! So happy to have my children attend Skyline Ranch!

The first week back to school has been hectic to say the least. The teachers provided an open house that was informative. The meet your teacher night was amazing. We are fortunate to be part of this awesome school for another year.

I am pleased with the education that my kindergartner received last year. He transferred mid year and was really behind with his reading. by the end of the school year thanks to his teacher he was up to speed and is now reading short books. I really appreciate the teacher's daily emails to keep parents updated on the kids curriculum it really helped me help my child achieve success. I am looking forward to the next 8 years of my child's education at skyline ranch.

SKYLINE RANCH is an amazing school with the BEST admin and teachers-all employees are wonderful!!! Every member of the Skyline Staff has made a difference in one way or another for my children that have been attending Skyline since kindergarden, we are currently on year 7. The entire staff demonstrate positive behaviors and a culture like no other which has changed, grown and improved over the past couple of years. The teachers care about the students and encourage them to do their best in everything they do, academics, sports, behavior, attitute, BARK!!! I look forward to the next couple of years Skyline!

I have loved Skyline Ranch for my Kindergarten son! He had ADHD and his teacher has been amazing! He has improved in all areas since the beginning of the year, and has learned so much so far. The staff is always friendly. I feel like this is a safe school that looks out for the students safety. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a great school in this area.

Skyline Ranch K-8, Very pleased with all the staff & every single teacher my child has had thus far. We have been @ this school for 6 yrs & will continue to be a part of it. Looking forward to another awesome yr. with a lot of new faces (principle & vice principle, teachers etc) Finally I can say I feel safe with the way the drop off & pick up for students has evolved. Awesome School, fun& friendly staff that are willing to educate our students & willing to answer any parents questions or concerns. Amazing we get to eat outside. we get to see our teachers get hit in the face with pie, we get to see a bunch of curriculum activities on our assembly. My school "Skyline Ranch K-8" is one of my best schools!! -Dante Charon #12 Baseball 8th Grade

My kids are new to this school this year. I like how involved the staff is with the kids. I like how they take time to take turns to supervise the kids from before school to after. I like how they are very concerned with the safety I the kids. It eases my mind. Seeing this is there first year at Skyline I can't comment on the education. I'm waiting to see. But as for the staff they are great!

Wow, what a difference with the new administrators. They are everywhere. I went in to put money on my son's lunch account and all three were in the cafeteria supervising the kids. My son says they are in there everyday. Each morning when I drop off my son they are they are in the front of the building welcoming the kids. It really is a pleasant change from the past few years. My son loves going to school this year and always talks about kids getting awards for good behavior. I see a lot of great things happening at the school. If it continues this is going to be a great year. Great job Florence for putting new administrators in the school. The teachers seem very happy too.
