As a middle school student attending the STEM program at this school, the school and the staff engage very much with the students and try their hardest to learn about them. Although test scores aren’t very good due to the rise of Covid-19, the staff try their best to encourage the students to focus more by having events for each month. The school has improved very much since the beginning and I feel like stuff can improve but mostly everything that is bad comes from the environment students create from one another.

My kids have started attending for almost one year now. My daughter has had 1-2 bullies but with strong communication as a parent it gets taken care of. When my kid are behind I appreciate that they offer free math clubs or just extra attention for my kids. We cannot put all responsibility on the school it is up to the parent to be involved and push for what they want. I think the office staff is also great and has patience for my kids which is a must when working with any children. I have a 3rd grader and 5th grader who are doing well but of course always striving for better.

My kids attended Christopher Elementary and we transferred to Parkview Elementary in December of this past year. By the second day both teachers came to me saying my kids were way behind. This school is failing to keep up with the District and further from the standard. The amount of work to catch up has been tremendous and i wonder how this can even be called a school. Parents are obviously not involved with their kids and we had to transfer because it was apparent they failed to teach them those values on top of a lice breakout every other month. This schools needs to focus on getting the parents involved as will as focus on getting the kids caught up.

This school has shown some improvement however the parent involvement is minimal. The staff have minimal impact on addressing serious situations. There is poor fundamental values and a lot of these kids are reflecting it. There is no real structure, the kids are running the school more than the staff. The school lacks the ability to control the bullying of students and seem to only address one side of the situation not both.
