STM is more than a school, it’s a community. My oldest has attended for the last 3 years, and my youngest will start kindergarten in the fall. The school has proved to be a welcoming and encouraging environment. The friends she has made in her classroom, and the connections we’ve made as parents as been such a gift. The Covid response was something that really stood out to us. Our teacher immediately took on the new ZOOM element seemlessly. The children were still engaged and thriving (which for TK must have been an enormous challenge)! The school went right back to in-person by Oct/2020, and has had very little interruption since. They’ve created a safe environment, and we were so grateful for how well they’ve communicated throughout. The retirement of a longtime principal is a challenge for any school, and as a parent with early elementary children… it gave us a bit of nerves going into this school year. Luckily, the new principal has been energizing and enthusiastic to bring new life to STM. He’s engaging and kind with all of the kids, and the musical element that he is bringing to the school is fantastic! We are so excited to see where the next few years will bring our fabulous school.

Top notch. We are not catholic and wondered if we would fit it, but it is no problem. There is a strong commitment to including families of all faiths and ethnicities. We are very pleased with the school.

STM is a great school! The parent community is awesome, and the teachers/staff have always been kind and very helpful since our very first day of school. My two kids are happy, safe and are thriving! The teachers are very responsive and supportive, and keep me posted on issues that might need work. I can’t say enough good things about this school!

We have been here since preschool. My son is now in 7th grade. I’m sad we only have less than a year and a half left here at St Thomas More. It was the best decision we have ever made!

Best choice we have made for our children thus far is sending them to St. Thomas More School. Our children were attending a public school in our neighborhood's school district. Unfortunately, we were growing unhappy with the direction of this school district & our school and we wanted a change. We contemplated sending them to a catholic private school, but like many families, we struggled with the financial burden it would put on our household. After careful thought, we decided to take the leap and make the change. We had a few catholic schools in San Francisco & Daly City in mind. Close family friends recommended St. Thomas More to us. As soon as we took a tour of STM, we knew this was the place we want our children to go to school. From the start, we were welcomed enthusiastically by friendly teachers, staff, students & parents. We see a great improvement academically with our kids too. They are eager to learn, show interest in their work & school success. This is what was lacking from our old school & what we had craved for. Safety by far is always the most important above all. We can confidently say that at St. Thomas More, safety is their #1 priority too. During school drop off & pick up, there is student led traffic patrol, which is always supervised by a teacher or school staff. This greatly helps with drop off & pick up. I have observed in our short time at St. Thomas More that not only are school staff very conscientious with the students' safety, but parents & older students are too. The care & bond of this school community is unlike anything we have seen before. If you are looking for a school that will give your child a good education in a safe & loving place, look no further. St. Thomas More School is it!

Our two daughters graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic School. We did not hesitate to send our three grandchildren to STM and they absolutely thrive in this environment! The faculty and staff are very supportive and accommodating. The children are engaged and want to learn. The families are friendly and eager to jump in and help out. The teachers are dedicated and hard-working, and do an excellent job of finding a balance between education and the children’s faith. From small group learning to faith centered activities to athletics, St. Thomas More is truly focused on not only a very strong academic curriculum, but in supporting the “whole” child as well. We are confident that our children will go off to high school/college and be academically and socially prepared to take on any challenge. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be a part of the St. Thomas More Community.

My daughter started Kindergarten here and she is now in 5th grade. I can't be happier that I made the right decision to place her in this school. The staff is amazing and the curriculum is great. My kid has grown to be a respectful, smart and confident kid. They make it a point to have the parents involve in all the activities so we get to know everyone within the school community. My daughter is happy here since her classmates and staff treat her well. There is no bullying. This is a well-rounded school when it comes to education, setting good, moral and catholic example.

STM is an awesome school!! I'm so happy with what my child is learning. This year my son started Kinder and I was so worried about signing him up for school, where to go, did I make the right decision...etc. But now we are extremely happy on going to STM. The Kinder teachers, Principal, Admin staff and Parents Club are wonderful and loving/caring, they are very on top of things and promoting good behavior.My Son likes this school and eager to go School every day. He loves his Teacher very much. It's good school with great administration and atmosphere. Great school!
