We have had nothing but problems the last 2 years my daughter has attending this school. Teachers cannot control their classrooms or their students. The school has horrible communication and parents miss out on a lot of opportunities within the school because of that. Other students are loud, disruptive and extremely inappropriate leaving other students feeling unsafe and unwelcome. There has been talk from many parents about pulling their students and beginning homeschool or transferring to a more equipped school with lower student to teacher ratios. We are extremely unimpressed with the school options near us and homeschool is our future to provide our daughter with the education she deserves.

Fantastic school! I choiced my kids into this school because I heard great things from my friends and they were right! The atmosphere in this school is awesome because it is a very diverse school. It is surrounded by the military community so there is a sense of understanding and compassion between the children.

I love this school, I choices both of my children into the school. Not only is the staff great and easy to talk to about any issues that my come up, but they are very effective in handling any situation. The military support from everyone is amazing as well. I would recommend this school over and over again.

This is my daughters first year at Perry Elementary school and so far it has been a great year for her. Mrs. Quintana is her 1st grade teacher and she is awesome! She really cares about her students and goes above and beyond for them. They also have Girl Scouts and a Primetime program which my daughter enjoys!

The staff and teachers are really kind and patient with all the kids. They command respect, but show understanding. Individually Janya Schlottman was an excellent first grade teacher for our daughter. Highly recommend Perry Elementary.

I have two children who have attended Perry (one is still there) and they have both excelled academically and socially. We have a new Principal who listens to parents, teachers and students alike with complete fairness and respect. She is a wonderful asset to our school community and we hope she stays forever!! We have an very active PTA and they organize a lot of extra-curricular activities that the students love and look forward to throughout the year. The PTA funds VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) and this year alone the children have enjoyed art, dance and drums. We have a running club at the school that has recently added computer scanning and monitoring. The parents can check at home on their computers to see how far their children are running in the mornings and on break (this is not mandatory, but the kids love it). The teachers go above and beyond to assist every child on their learning journey. This school is the perfect beginning to that journey and the children can leave Perry knowing that they are well equipped with the knowledge they need to succeed at Middle School and beyond.

Whom ever in the reviews below is commenting the principle is rude or disrespectful is mistaken. Mrs. Austin has been nothing but kind and polite ever time we've spoken. She guinuinly seems to care for each student and atempts to know thier individual needs. I dare any of the comenting parents to assume her job for a week and then make those remarks. Maybe the child below who came home hungry possibly decided to play instead of eat during the lunch time. Point being, the staff in the public school system are bombarded with critics and not enough support. The school is fairly small and has a dicient ethnic mix, due to the military housing in the area. Also compare the test scores to the schools of the sournding area.
