My child is currently attending this school, I can’t tell you how this school has been disappointment after disappointment since the first day of school this summer. The first day of school we had no idea what to expect , principal never sent out any messages days prior to school starting. First day of school lacked excitement towards students returning from staff. My child was being targeted by lunch staff and getting singled out day after day to the point where she got out of school and told me she was sat by herself during lunch again (mind you this was day 4 consecutively) while all her classmates sat together and she had no idea why that happened..if my child is getting separated constantly there should have been a phone call or some sort of communication from school… never received it. I found out through my child. I requested to sit in on a lunch and I was denied that. The principal said she wanted an opportunity to see what was happening before we took that step, I allowed her to do her job… as she did get to the bottom of it on my 3rd interaction with her about the same issue when I threatened to go to the district office she finally thought of the brilliant idea to talk to staff and let my child be when it comes to eating. Apparently staff was separating her and forcing her to eat because she was distracted while sitting with classmates, mind you that was never a concern of mine so staff took it upon themselves to make that decision about my child without consulting me about it. My child dreads going to school…teacher has low moral no excitement. Currently I’m disappointed in the school because I was just told there will be no winter performance as far right now … as a parent with a child who is just starting out their school journey we look forward to these events. Oh one last thing, I’ve been to many school where I see staff interact and mingle with parents..this school is totally opposite you don’t see one staff member out until the bells rings..they don’t make an effort to engage with parents when parents are present on school grounds. We have yet to hear of any volunteer opportunities … the walls in the hallway were student work is usually displayed are bare. I just feel staff could make school more inviting … if you were to ask me if I recommend this school…ABSOLUTELY NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD ELSEWHERE.

My kids have been attending this school since kindergarten. My son has autism, and they have been AWESOME in working with him. The students in his class are aware of his behaviors and have been SO GREAT in helping him. The teachers and staff have all been wonderful in observing and seeing his needs are met, and are very encouraging. Academically, the kids are doing well, which is a reflection upon their teachers. They are invested in their students and go out of their way to ensure your child knows the material. As far as I know, bullying is dealt with accordingly.

Wish this school cared about their student's whole happiness. If parents took child development courses there would be an uproar against the education system. My child is not a sheep in your herd. #childrenmatter

This school is having an amazing year! The new principal has lots of ideas that are coming to fruition and making a positive impact in the school. Her teachers are also amazing. They truly care and work hard for the kids' education. The PTA has raised enough money this year to send every child to a field day and much more. My daughter has greatly improved all her scores. This is thanks to the principal and her staff's hard work. This school is ramping up fast! I can't wait to see that next year brings to us.

i have 3 kids my oldest in 16, then 10 & 8 yr old w/ the change in principals this school has really come around for the better/benefit of the kids. It's safe to say parents, teachers & students are enjoying more of what elementary school is supposed to be about....a real experience. Test scores have raised & over all enthusiasm is at an all time high :)
