This school does not treat minorities good at all. My daughters rights were violated by the schools nurse when her clothes were taken off and while she was already scared & vulnerable the school nurse called her ashy. My daughter was mentally, and emotionally abused here. Another minority students rights were violated when the nurse went against his IEP plan. He is non verbal autistic. When he needs to go to the bathroom the nurse has to take him. However he was denied by the nurse only for his mother to come to the school because he had been sitting in his desk crying for 45 mins. When his mother checked him, he had been sitting in his urine and feces that whole time. We will not accept this.

The campus is fairly new and has nice facilities (computer lab, art room, gym, etc.). However, there are over 1,000 students at the school now (not 479 like this website says), and the infrastructure just can't support it. Student drop-off and pick-up is a logistical nightmare, although the teachers on duty really do their best to make it manageable. Also, the student to teacher ratio on this website is not correct. Most classrooms have 25+ students with no teacher's aide in the room. I think most of the staff are doing the best with what they have, but the school has turned out to be very different from what we first thought after moving here.

My daughter loved going to this school and the teachers were great.

My son has been there since it has opened in 2015. And with the growing number of students each year, they have adjusted well. This year there was an explosion of new students and while it is going a little slow, they are adjusting what need to be adjusted (ie pickup/drop off, etc...) Support staff teachers (Music, art, etc) are WONDERFUL and very creative in getting kids interested. Tons of clubs to join of every kind that peak the kids interest. And I personally never had a problem with communication with my son's teachers. Overall great school!

This school is new & has a nice science lab & computer lab. The principal was open to parent suggestions, as it was the first year that Boldt was open. Most of the kinks were addressed in a timely manner. The parent drop off/pickup zone was not well thought out by the engineers & could stand to be addressed with additional sidewalks for the walkers & an extra entrance to the parking lot for those intending to park. The teachers were friendly but slow to grade/post grades, communication was less than desired & lessons didn't always follow the books that the district supplied. It appeared that the teachers were more concerned with teaching to the test (STARR) than helping the children achieve a sound education. Overall, Boldt is a good school.
