I love Maranatha. I am an alumni, and this school prepared me greatly for college. Maranatha is very strong in its academic core subjects, but especially math and English. Students work hard to get good grades, and it is well worth their while. My freshman year of college was mostly spent already knowing class material and more. I owe all of my academic success to Maranatha.

Interesting 4 out of 5 recommend this school. I attended public school most of my life and attended MBA for the last two years of high school-- this school's love for students has changed my life. Thank you MBA.

This school is absolutely terrible! The majority of the teachers have no credentialing whatsoever. The curriculum used (A Beka) is what makes this school "seem" above average. If one is able, it would be best to homeschool your child using the A Beka curriculum rather than sending him or her to this institution. The leaders of this church/school teach their members as well as the students that don't attend the church to pass judgement on others. This is strictly forbidden by the Word of God! Parents and their children will be mistreated by the school/church leadership if they are unwilling to conform to the Biblical perversion taught at this institution. Again, it is ONLY the curriculum ( A Beka ) that makes this school "seem" as if it is a great place to send your child. If you truly love your children and are committed to God's way of training them, this place SHOLUD NOT even be considered in facilitating such training. It will ONLY hinder your parental progress.

Maranatha Baptist Academy far exceeded my expectations. I would reccomend this school to anyone and everyone. they have great programs to offer and my daughter is way ahead of her peers because of coming to this school and getting a great foundation. I also love the fact they teach about Jesus.
