    Not a good school to attend based off unprofessionalism of staff!

    I was a student here from 2010-2016 and it was a great experience. But I think it got a lot better when I left though especially with technology.

    Calhoun Academy is a great small town school. We have lived here for 16 years and as with any small town, I will always be considered from 'off' which doesn't bother me. My son graduated from there and my daughter is in high school. I have been pleased with both of their levels of education and their extra activities - one chose to play sports and the other did not. I think that some of the comments here are pretty harsh - you will probably find that most schools, private or public, are going to have 'in' crowds and other issues that all kids have to deal with at some time in their lives. I don't know if my children are classified as 'in crowd' by their peers, and I really don't care because that is not why they are in school. What I do know is that they have a good education from caring teachers, they love their school, and they have made friends which will last a lifetime.
