You'll see other review on here mentioning teacher retention. While this has been a good place for our kids to learn and grow, I do feel that their discipline could improve and that the educational philosophy of "Just Love Them" leaves something to be desired as it cripples students both long term and short term. Longer term student's may fail to internalize that actions have consequences. Short term classroom discipline and management are not supported enough to ALSO accomplish classroom LEARNING. The school has a lot going for it but could benefit from a change at the top levels of administration with a renewed focus on being a structured school where the talented teachers have the administration's support in classroom management. If your goal is for your child to have safe day care in a summer camp like environment, Torah Prep is a good match. If you want something more substantial educationally that will prepare them for a life of Torah that includes developing the skills needed for independent Torah study unfortunately there really are no other options for a Yeshiva in St Louis.

Torah Prep is a wonderful school, and it is known for its tremendous warmth towards each and every student. Our family has tremendous appreciation for the outstanding judaic and secular education all of our children have received. In the last few years Torah Prep has expanded its support for children with learning challenges, and also recently hired a full time social worker.

The student behavior interferes with the learning experience. There are only two strict Rebbeim on staff but they are in teaching roles, not administrative ones. The administration doesn't discipline the students and the students know this and feel they can get away with anything. Teachers have quit teaching at TP because of student behavior.

Torah Prep of St. Louis is a fantastic school! The Rabbaim are very knowledgeable and caring. The secular staff is highly trained and excellent at what they do. It's a well rounded education.
