I've had 3 children within 6 year span go to Ritenour Middle. I would highly advise any parent to try to send their children somewhere else if possible. There ARE some amazing faculty members. But also a high number of teachers/ principals/counslers that are awful! And I mean awful! They have given up or maybe never cared. A few of them even bully some kids. Laziness is a big part of the problem. The education you recieve from RMS is a joke. Students and some teachers cuss daily and fights are weekly at least. Some of the teachers don't even talk properly to children. The officer on campus was pretty inappropriate with my 12 year old daughter. And overall it is unsafe, unclean, and all 3 of my children whom are completely different and thrived at their other schools, struggled at Ritenour Middle.

My children have had excellent experiences in the Ritenour School District. We originally moved here for the low cost of homes. We ended up staying for the schools and the wonderful community. I could not be happier with the education they received.
