A wonderful school with a great principal and amazing teachers, administrators, and support staff. Cutting edge techniques for teaching and learning. Many interactive school projects, activities, and electives. The curriculum and field trips foster a wonderful learning experience for kids and are the building blocks to providing the kids with countless tools and experiences that they will remember for life. We could not ask for more in our community.

... Where to start? Poor campus supervision, ongoing teasing and even occasional bullying issues which there is very little attempt at solving, all the negative connotations of the "small town feel" in the mentality and the attitude of the staff. If you and your children are part of the clique, everything is ok. If for any reason you are not and try to raise a polite complaint about the issue of non-acceptance, this school will consider you and your child a nuisance and slowly but surely leave you no choice but leaving. This is the reason why many parents take their kids out or skip this option altogether after the primary school. This is if they can afford private school, of course - if you can't, good luck in St. Helena.
