This school is dirty, the teachers are mean and the kids are rude and I would never send my children here.

Two out of 4 of my kids attended there, plus I worked there a few years. The test scores are higher than normal, but the school is definitely doing many things right which cannot be reflected in a test.

Great school. While the socioeconomics of the area should be causing huge issues, this school is doing well. It does see its share of bullying like most large and small middle schools, but the staff does its best to address the issues. Most of the teachers are outstanding and truly enjoy teaching. The principal and assistant principal do a good job with school spirit and bringing in the latest programs and technology to make the school better. The school added a softball & baseball program last year and they were both undefeated due to exceptional coaches and students!

I had to take my kid out of this school. My child was miserable every single day, having emotional breakdowns, and did not want to go to school because of constant bullying. I think the school is a bit overwhelmed with fights and bullying issues because they seemed relieved when I pulled my child out of the school because we were one less issue to deal with. My child got good grades there, BUT terrible scores on quizzes, tests, and AIMS. How does that happen? The school does offer laptops (with a nice pricetag), I thought that was great, but then because of the bullying, the laptop was broken. A child threw my sons backpack and kicked it to start a fight and ruined the screen. My child is much happier now having a outstanding education elsewhere.
