We're blessed to find O.W. Erlewine. We felt welcomed and loved the first day we step foot on campus. We were unfortunate to have to experience a team of educator that took a toll on my son's self-esteem. Erlewine made my nightmare end and helped me turn my son back into a kid who loved going to school. When my mother died early this year, they carried our family, not with words but actions. Thanks to a principle who works vigilantly with teachers and children. Providing fun actives and engaging after school programs. We will miss all the great people that make up this amazing school.

My son has special needs and everyone is great. He loves school and is excited to go everyday. He loves visiting with teachers and office staff. As parents we have had a great experience.

I love Erlewine, my daughter is doing well and likes going to school. All of the staff are great, they make you feel welcome and the office staff seems to know all children by name. My daughter is in the 1st grade and has been going here since Kindergarten. I am glad that my daughter had the opportunity to start her elementary school years at Erlewine. I feel confident that my daughter is safe at school while I work.

This is a small well run community school. The principal & staff are very caring. The curriculum is solid.

The campus is very student friendly and clean. The staff are caring and concerned for each and every student. The atmosphere is one of happy, enjoyable learning. This school is a jewel in the Sacramento City School District.

This school is relatively small with a diverse population, teachers that care, and a supportive principal. Family are encouraged to participate and there is strong PTA support. There is a focus on technology, and extra curricular activities such as tutoring and clubs, and a school garden. When other schools lost their librarians this school kept theirs. My child, now in college, still lists one of the teachers here as her favorite of all the schools she attended. Office staff, yard duty, cafeteria staff, and some teachers are or were parents of students who attend this school or were even students here themselves. This is truly a community school.

This school was not a good fit for our family at all. While we loved the garden and technology aspects to the school we did not feel like the needs of our child were being met. Not every child fits a specific mold and there was little to no flexibility in this school.

This is a fantastic school with some of the most caring, compassionate teachers I've ever seen! The principal is involved and just awesome! The library is well-used, and even open every Thursday evening for families to come and spend time together. They have a great garden and nature area. The teachers even set special challenges for students who are ahead of the rest of the class. My daughter was never more motivated and happy when attending this school. Only because we moved, did we have to leave. This is a school you can place your trust in! It deserves more parents who would dedicate their volunteer hours - it would be such a gift to the school and students.

This is an excellent school with amazing teachers, support staff and parent participation! There can NEVER be enough parent participation and Erlewine has plenty of volunteers. I love how hard everyone works to make our school amazing.
