Just moved to the area. School is welcoming, staff & students. Secure & safe for my child. My child says this is the best school by far !

The school has a diverse population and everyone is cared for as far as i have seen. The teachers are great and have a passion for what they do. No school is perfect. My children learned a lot and their teachers are great. They are trying their best. Thank you Babcock!

The majority of the children at D.W. Babcock elementary school are low income, and unfortunately that means they are also at risk students. The campus is small enough that you would think the students would get a great education. Unfortunately that is not the case. Students who may require special services or tutoring do not. It's not in their budget. I have seen first hand students who may not speak fluent English get punishment or yelled at on the playground by the supervising adults, simply for not completely understanding how to explain a situation.

Got in trouble after something I did not do made half student owe there lunch recces after there was a mess at the end of the table and only 2 people did the mess the others had to just sit

This is where you send your kids when you’re ready for them to start fighting, cussing, being fast and bringing coloring pages home as homework. This school is a joke all around. We live in a less than desirable area temporarily but we have always made sure our kids were raised as best as we can just to send our kids to school here and make it very known why people can’t get out of this area.

This school is a great place and a second home to many students. They do not treat children any different than another in the way that everyone is cared for equally. They truly care about the students and have a passion for what they do.
