This is the best school I have ever been to, the teachers and students are so nice and I definitely recommend you have your kid or friends kids go here. I went to saco middle school and the teachers were not nice at all. The only nice people were in the office and the principal and the assistant principal so I recommend your kid goes to TAMS ( Thornton Academy Middle School.. They have a great learning curriculum and all of the teachers are really nice. Definitely worth the money!

TA has shared with me a warm, welcoming community and lots of great classes, clubs and sports--especially sociology and tennis! The people are nice and I absolutely love being on campus.

Great school! A school where you can be yourself. More than 18 countries are represented at TA this year. I'm an international student from Hungary, and I'm graduating this year. Thornton gave me an opportunity to try everything what I wanted to: journalism, entrepreneurship, cooking, AP Human Geography , tennis, and a lot more. I couldn't even decide what classes and clubs should I take, because there are so many things I'm interested in. The 4 years of High School is not about how to survive it, it is about how to enjoy every moment of it. Specially if you are studying at TA,I guarantee that you will find those friends who will last forever. Academics, Athetics, Clubs, Dance, Art- everything!

Thornton Academy is a great school that allowed to me to achieve every goal at an academic and a personal level. The teachers in the boarding program are like family to me. I strongly recommend every student to be part of our community!

TA has such an incredibly supportive and welcoming environment. Students here feel free to try new things, get out of their comfort zone, and push their limits. Very nice to see students from every walk of life thriving here.
