I am a parent of a child who thrives on academic challenges, and a child who struggles academically. I have witnessed nothing but encouragement from the entire faculty at Sequoyah. I know when I send my kids to school every day, they will be taught, and cared for, in a patient, understanding, and fun environment. My family is blessed to get to be a part of Sequoyah Elementary.

This school needs to be willing to work more with parents and children with disabilities.

Absolutely horrid. The principal and assistant principal both are on a power streak

My son has attended Sequoyah for 2 years, the staff and administration at Sequoyah are amazing! Every staff member be it janitor to principal truly care about your child. I feel very blessed that my son is surrounded daily by people that support and encourage him. Sequoyah not only educates your child but also cares about who they are.

This is an amazing school where it's all about the kids. Dedicated teachers, outstanding staff, involved parents, and happy children make this a special place to learn!

You will not find a better staff for caring for your child. This school goes out of it's way to make your child and you as a family feel at home. The classrooms are very interactive and they are always challenging students to do more and be part of the educational process.

Love this school! The teachers are awesome and the facilities are wonderful. There is a true love for learning and a desire to teach the whole child. Great opportunities abound at this school.

my son attend this school for 3 years. he started when he was 4 and attened until he was 7. he was placed in the ale program almost the intire time. when i moved to another school, he was evaluated to see where he was. the evluation showed he had learned 3 sight words and knew not even half his phonics. he was basically ready for kindergarten. he had to be placed in sp.ed. i now pay for my child to go to a private school. my child is a perfectly healthy child, i feel the only reason he was put in sp.ed. was a direct result of this school.

A wonderful school that I have been a part of for over 30 years! The teachers are very good and work very hard. Yes, there is a "teach to the test problem", BUT it is the problem and the focus of our state dept. and in ALL schools in AR. The atmosphere is professional, structured and caring. From the time you walk into the building, you are greeted with smiling, caring faces. I have first hand witness learning in the classroom and creative learning strategies. Good behavoir is expected of the students, which makes learning much more fun for everyone and allows it to actually happen! Great school!
