I HAD 2 children at this school and i have some sort of problem with them each year. I pulled one of my children out to home school them because she has a disability and the principle inferred that it would be hard for them to take the cap testing with their disability.

This is a great school. My son goes there and makes straight A's on everything. Altho its small and not in our district and could use a bit more funding, it does have a friendly staff and my son is learning there. Thank u Star for allowing him to test in and be accepted to your school. Considering the test scores and teacher to student ratio at the school in his district, it is well worth the commute to get him there and back each day. Thank u Star and keep up the good work.

This is a very small school. They only have a 1/2 sized gym which doubles as the cafeteria so that means NO P.E. classes. SOME of the teachers are rude and hateful (One teacher actually SCREAMS at the kids), they have little patience, and they don't seem to want to deal with parents much. The school could use some teacher's aides to help out but they don't have any. Since this is a small school they don't get the funding like the bigger ones do in the area so that means zero aides, not many upgrades for computers, etc.. With more funding and better teachers Star Elementary could be a nice, cozy school. But the way it is now I don't care for it much.
