As other parents have stated BULLYING and jumping as in violence from multiple students to beat up one occurs frequently. Unfortunately so many students have to leave, also parents are never called and students do not bring home notes detailing anything at all happened. I asked my child if his lips were dry and why they were split and he told me he was punched multiple times in the mouth, nose, and kicked repeatedly in his privates. This is not right, the administration opted to not let law enforcement get involved so the brutal (kept quiet) beatings and bullying among innocent 8 year olds will continue.

Several of my children attended here. They really enjoyed the teachers that they worked with. Great principal also!

Both my children currently go here and I am extremely disappointed. Apparently the school does not care about bullies they do not discipline against it they do not suspend they do not punish there is no consequence that gets anybody’s attention. They seem to think it’s completely fine if a little boy hits a little girl several times they also seem to think it’s OK if other kids put jump ropes around each other so tightly that there’s severe marks… No parents were called no kids were suspended all that was said is we’ve already talked about this wow! That’s some strict discipline those kids are going to learn so much… I don’t know if they’re so scared to have some actual consequences because everybody is so sensitive now when it comes to their kids but I can tell you that when my daughter is being bullied there is nothing OK about that for my daughter to think that that is completely OK to be happening to her I’m just curious did everybody forget why bullying was so huge like why there was the anti-bullies support groups and everything has that just gone out of everybody’s mind? Because the fact is all that emotion is going to get let out somewhere so maybe we should fix the problem and start handing out some consequences.

I was incredibly concerned about the low test scores when we moved to Rupert and seriously considered driving my children to Declo or sending them to St. Nick's, but I'm so glad I chose to enroll them in Rupert Elementary. The school has made academic gains every year for the last eight years. The teachers here are by and large incredibly caring and knowledgeable. I've been welcomed into the parent group and gotten to know several teachers well. Discipline is handled swiftly and fairly. The office staff is great, and the principal is open and easy to talk to. The teachers work very well as a team on the grade level. Rupert Elementary could really benefit from more parent involvement, but based on the low economic status of our boundaries, many parents both work and don't have time to volunteer. Overall, this is a great school and no one should have reservations about sending their children to Rupert Elementary.
