Royalton elementary is a wonderful school! There are programs to help children that need extra help and there is a program to help children that need a challenge. All the teachers are fantastic! The paras are friendly and help any student that needs help. Your child is definitely taken care of here!

I would not recomend this school. It is a money-hungry school who care about nothing but that. They will label children and try to convinve their parents and the kids that they have learning problems so they can use them for extra funding from the state. That has happened to my child. We didn't agree and they went behind our backs continued services when we did not sign off. The person in charge made thinly-veilled insults to myself and my husband because we tried to explain why we didnt agree and insinuated we were bad parents because of that. The principal will not side with parents, only the teachers and is uderly arrogant because he has a PhD (he thinks he knows everything and parents are ignorant). There are decent teachers which is why we stayed so long there but ultimately decided to transfer to a different district who had our child's best interest at heart.

Our school in Royalton is a awesome school. We care about the kids and their abilities. We hold a 5 star reading rating. Our school continues to grow with students each year. We have many programs like Rif 3-free books give aways three times a year. Artist in residence, Prairie Fire Childrens Theatre, Deep Portage Conservation camp, and many more activities keep the children excited about school.
