Great atmosphere in regards to learning. New communities are being built all over so this place will be a great academic great social great learning environment for all students.

Currently, I am attending Lamar Consolidated High School, and I am not convinced that the school is as terrible as it seems. My views may differ slightly (or starkly) from others, due to the fact that I am enrolled in PAP/AP classes, yet I still believe this school has plenty to offer. So, let's first list the positives:- The student body is diverse, and I have not observed excessive bullying based on discrimination/racism.- The staff is not terribly strict nor lenient. Many of the teachers I know care about their students and the classroom environment.- Students are encouraged to take AP/PAP/Dual courses, and the school emphasizes the benefits of taking those classes.- Extracurricular activities and UIL programs are enjoyable; many students participate in them. (Shout out to Mustang Playhouse!)- We have some updates! There is now another field and sports center, we are rebuilding the tennis court (should be finished soon), and half of B hall has been remodeled.- Currently, inordinate amounts of homework are not an issue due to combining the use of Canvas and online assignments/tests.- Many students believe LCHS makes sure to create a family-like environment.No school is without flaws, but LCHS has some negatives that may concern some more than others:- Fights and disputes break out between students and, at times, between students and staff.- Unfortunately, on school grounds, vaping and drug use are common. Students can claim to know specific spots where they see students frequently smoking. While it is highly punishable, many students manage to evade the consequences.- The school does need remodeling since it is quite deteriorated. - Some students in academic classes complain about the classroom organization and general learning experience.- You will find large classes. I have been in a crowded classroom with 35 students before.It's your choice whether you dislike or love Lamar Consolidated High School, but let's just say that it's definitely not the worst place to send your child. Ultimately, it is up to your student to determine how their views will affect their experience.

Massive disappointment in student behavior being allowed. There are some fantastic teachers that are the only thing that makes this school okay.

alot of bullys teacher look the other way dont let your kids go to this school they dont go by no child left behind iss makes student miss there classes
