Forgot my son outside, no one knew where he was. No one is sure how long he was out there for or told me how this exactly happened (though, his teacher didn’t even come out to look for him, the director of the building came out to check in on us). I’m glad I came to pick my son up early, or who knows what would have happened or if anyone would have realized he was missing. The teacher was let go, which I was glad to see. And when I went to gather my sons things, his other teacher apologized for what happened (she had left for the day, so she wasn’t aware what happened until the next day). It wasn’t her fault. I hated having to remove my son from the school, he loved his teachers and his classmates and was doing so well at the school, but that was completely unacceptable.

Cobb School has been an excellent experience for our three young children. We are very happy with the decision to send them to here.

We happily state, “Our grandsons go to Cobb.” There is a lot new this year. New building with light and spacious classrooms, large, enclosed playground and field, and a great multi-purpose room that is cafeteria, indoor PE space and theater for the wonderful winter and spring musicals. And, soon Cobb will be welcoming as new Head of School, Mr. A, an amazing and highly qualified and experienced educator. But, thankfully, somethings didn’t change – emphasis on academics and life lessons both in and out of the classroom, caring staff and weekly specials galore (Spanish, Science, art, music, and computers). Yes, we happily state, “Our grandsons go to Cobb!”

A special educational community that really sees my kids for their gifts and growth areas and nutures them in specific and impactful ways. Our boys actually look forward to school; a parent's dream! We love the school's commitment to the arts, Spanish language, science, technology and community, in addition to the fundamentals. We have also connected with so many other like-minded families who care deeply about rigorous, creative and values based education.

Hands-on playful learning, committed staff really get to know the kids thanks to the family atmosphere in small classes. We have a 3rd grader and a kindergartner there. Surprisingly affordable but with all the extras like drama, music, band, Spanish, technology, and a fantastic arts program. Best decision we ever made switching from public school to Cobb. Top-notch yet approachable administrators and welcoming families. So glad we found this gem of a school in Roseburg. - grateful parent

This schools does an excellent job of personalizing learning for all children. It is wonderful to know that in addition to a fantastic basic education all children at Cobb have and Art, Music, Spanish, PE, Science and Computer teacher in addition to their regular teacher.
