School starts too early!! The only school in Rockford that is still doing the “pledge of allegiance” so when they are “late” there not late for class their late in saying the “pledge of allegiance” is what they told me! They do not get back to you if your child said they have gotten into a fight you literally have to go in there and talk to the “principal”! There at the front desk all day but won’t pick up the phone or call back! I called them a week ago told them the situation and they still haven’t called or anything. I really don’t know if they check the answer machine probably only for attendance

Gregory Elementary has been a great learning environment for my two kids for the last 7 years. The teaching staff has always been caring and professional and the administration has always been fair, in control and very involved. As my kids move forward in life, my wife and I will always attribute a portion of their future successes to the Teachers and staff at Gregory Elementary.

Gregory School has excellent teachers who are able to teach all levels within the grade, giving the high performing students extra challenges, and extra help to low performers without forgetting those children just at grade level. Principal is deeply involved. PE and art programs are excellent. Good PTO that provides funds and supplies to the school, but needs more parents to become involved.
