I would not recommend this school. It is stifling for both the kids and parents. The principal began updating the school security plan only after pressure from parents. Not a positive or happy environment.

I would not recommend this school. They do not interact with the community any more. They do not provide extra help for kids. They are only there to get your money and try to keep school doors open. Kids are scared of certain teachers and especially the new principle. I’m surprised the principal isn’t slapping their hands with rulers im sure she would if she could.

We are so happy we decided to enroll our son at St. Pius Tenth school. It has been a great fit for him. We are not Catholic, but have appreciated the moral and spiritual guidance he’s received here. The small class sizes foster a sense of community among students and allows for the attention each student needs. The teachers and principal are super responsive and really care about each family. I really couldn’t ask for more from a school. I would whole-heartedly recommend SPX to anyone.

Awesome school! The entire vibe in the school is calm and accepting, there's no undercurrent of anxiety or stress like you may feel elsewhere. Academics are more rigorous than public schools, in a good way. Smaller class size means your child gets more personalized attention and builds closer relationships with other students and staff. AIS is provided if your child needs it (and special ed services are still overseen by your school district if your child needs those). Great staff from the principal, teachers, student support staff... everyone is caring. Building feels safe and secure. Lots of opportunities to volunteer and get involved. Financial aid is available to help with tuition. You don't have to be Catholic to attend, but we are so that was also a bonus that they receive religious education during the school day too.

Excellent school. Pre-K to 5th, we have had children enrolled there since 2016. Teachers genuinely care for the students. Excellent, responsive administration. Students treat each other with kindness and respect. I am grateful that the school provides parents with a choice in the education of their children on the westside of Monroe County.

Saint Pius the Tenth school, has prepared our children with academic rigor, social and spiritual growth to be successful. The teachers and staffs promote an encouraging and loving environment for the children. The parents also contribute to ensure engaging after school programs and events. It is just a great overall community.

We are very pleased with Saint Pius Tenth School. Our children have been enrolled since kindergarten. Our oldest is preparing to graduate from 6th grade and we are preparing to enroll our youngest in kindergarten. The administration and teachers alike have always been supportive. St. Pius feels like home to us and many others. Perhaps that feeling, along with a wonderful staff, is why the doors to our school are still open.
