As parents of two daughters at Hamlin Elementary School, we are absolutely thrilled with our experience so far. The teachers at Hamlin have truly gone above and beyond in helping our girls flourish academically and personally. Their support and dedication have been instrumental in our daughters' growth and development.Additionally, the administrators at Hamlin have been nothing short of helpful and communicative. They are always available to address any concerns or questions we may have and work tirelessly to ensure a positive and nurturing environment for all students.One aspect that truly sets Hamlin Elementary apart is the loving and caring atmosphere that permeates the entire school. It's evident that this is a community that values kindness, empathy, and support for one another. We have also appreciated the high level of parent involvement, which further strengthens the sense of community within the school.Overall, we are incredibly grateful to be a part of the Hamlin Elementary School family. We wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent looking for a welcoming, nurturing, and supportive educational environment for their children.

Horrible! We've been treated poorly by this administration at this school consistently. The special education program needs a makeover in professionalism and manners.

Hamlin feels like a community with a common goal of helping the kids. I have been impressed with the principal, Dr. Van Staveren, as well as the teachers and staff. They know and encourage the kids. They communicate well and often with the parents. They make learning fun. We love Hamlin.

The teachers are phenomenal. We have 2 children at Hamlin and both are challenged and loved by their teachers every year

The overall vibe is very collaborative and the students/staff feel like a family. There are so many great opportunities for students, and the teachers are incredible. Our family loves it at Hamlin so far!

We moved here August 2014 and have felt at home at Hamlin. The teachers, helpers and entire staff is amazing. We feel connected, informed and like our opinions and concerns matter. My boys have loved K/1 and 2nd/3rd...I feel like they receive exactly what they need at the time they need it from their teachers and we couldn't be more pleased.

The teachers at Hamlin are fantastic. We moved to this district mid-year when my kids were in kindergarten and 3rd grade. Their teachers were great at making them feel welcome and helping them to get to know the other students and their new school. I attended an event just a couple weeks after they started school there and I couldn't believe how many teachers stopped to say "hi" to my kids. Every one of them knew my kids names, even though they weren't even in their classes. This school has the friendliest, most caring teachers that work together to make the school feel like family. We are so glad we made the choice to attend Hamlin!

We have enjoyed being a part of this neighborhood school. The parents and teachers are great. We have made friends and enjoy the many activities that are provided. I look forward to the changes that will come with the new bond monies.

Our kid attends special education, i would not recommend this school if your kid is diagnosed with ASD. This is the first year of a new principal. He has not been in any of the meetings held with us. The teacher in charge of the sp ed classroom needs to ask for approval for almost anything to the sp ed Director. To observe you need to put a request at least one week notice and wait for approval from Sp Ed Director. High effort to discourage parent participation. Specialists delegate their responsabilities to paraprofesionals even teaching of critical skills to ASD kids.

My son will be going to Hamlin for his second year this year. It is a reat school, with great staff, and we love Mr. Cornish!

My two boys attend Hamlin. This is their first year and they love this school! Everyone in the school from the principal on down is very professional, attentive, and nice. One of my boys receive special services for a learning disability and I must say everyone seems to go above and beyond to give him the help he needs. During a school break my boys had said they miss school. How awesome is that!
