  There has been more emphasis on my son's appearance than his learning experience. The staff was quick to contact me with their concerns with my son but rarely, if at all, returned my calls about my concerns. To my chagrin, I am forced to make my son attend RISD for a second year due to work and financial complications. I have taken notice of the progeny of this educational system and city as a whole. It may be a great setting for those with an old line, stone age mentality, however, progressives need not apply!!!! ...More Reviews

  Absolutely pathetic. The prep for the real world is missed - too many students now teaching, doesn't anyone actually get out of the city limits? There is zero prep for college. There is zero prep for the real world. The real world to people who live here is clouded with false ideas. The administration needs to get out of the 70's and stop worrying about dress codes, hair length and trying to win an athletic event and focus on preparing their young people for success. How about get a majority of the students off to college instead of trying to win a football or basketball game? In the end, you have ill prepared teachers - teachers who themselves have not had continuing education since they left college; and an administration who has no clue how to run a top performing educational institution. For you parents out there who think its so great - really? Your children are in the lower rankings of their peers.....oh but wait, most of you grew up there and now raising your children there.
