Olde Towne Middle School is one of the best-kept secrets in this state. The school has an amazing principal and dedicated counselors, teachers and staff who do their best to make sure every child succeeds – whether it's a child who has learning challenges, an advanced student or anyone in between. The PTO also works very hard to help provide extra opportunities for the students, make sure the teachers and staff feel appreciated and help support the school in various ways. The PTO does a great job communicating with parents to make sure they have a chance to get involved. The school also provides many extracurricular opportunities through clubs and organizations so students can find their niche. Both of my children have thrived at Olde Towne. I highly recommend this school!

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. None of the faculty cares about anything, except maybe their paychecks.

Not happy with this school at all. This is my 3rd child to attend here. I have had problems each time.

My son gets threatened and bullied every day, and nothing is ever done about it. In fact, they tell the students they do not have a right to defend themselves. One girl who recently slapped another girl was invited to the party that is supposed to be earned by good behavior. That's how much they don't care. There is no order and no supervision at all in the classrooms, and my son cannot even concentrate on his work. I'm honestly afraid to send my child to this school, and I only send him because I have no choice, until we can move to a better school district.

This school is probably the best middle school in the district alongside MMS. This school has a lot of good teachers and lots of great opportunities for each student.

Olde Towne has an amazing science and technology program and many other opportunities for extracurricular activities in sports, music and the arts. The teachers have been really invested in my child and have been good at keeping me informed. The students at the school are really down-to-earth good kids who seem to care about learning. Overall, it's an excellent environment with strong parental support.

This is a poor quality school. First of all my two boys get things stolen everyday from this school and nothing ever changes. I have been to the principal, Mr. Lawrence and nothing gets done. My son was pushed and he is the one getting ISS. The communication between Mr. Lawrence and parents is not there. He lacks the proper communication skills to deal with parents. The school board has been made aware of this. So if your looking for a good school, this would not be the one for you or your child. There are much better schools out there I promise.

I think the quality of education is above average but the teachers should be present in the halls, bathrooms, and locker rooms between classes to cut down on the bullying. Especially with the boys.
