My daughters attend this school since 2020 and it’s been amazing! There is not one negative thing I vacant say. My kids are thriving and are loving school.

Principal Foster is doing a phenomenal job on her first year at Frost. Staff sees first hand a caring and sacrificial leader. Parent involvement is awesome and students have many cool opportunities we didn’t have at our last school.

I would not send my kids here we have pulled our kids out and switched to private school. Almost daily my heart breaks hearing friends kids experiences at this school. They are making the kids hate learning while their grades may be okay, developing a love of learning is way more important. I have watched many teachers leave after a year why can't they keep teachers? The principal and Staff only care about grades maybe it time for a change in the administration.

This school prides itself on having "high expectations" and being "rigorous". While I understand setting high expectations, school should also be a joyful place for students and it is not. The kids are constantly testing (teaching to the test is a horrible practice) and it is exhausting and overwhelming. The kids have at least 10 tests a week and there report card grades are based solely on assessments, which is ridiculous. There is definitely way more administering of tests going on here than actual teaching and learning. It's all about test scores at this school. They care nothing about the children as a whole and it's truly sad. If you have a child with different abilities (disabilities) then it is even more horrible. They will not be supported, IEP's are just a piece of paper here, and the principal is not supportive of children with special needs. I could go on and on but I won't. If you have an option, please do not send your child here. They will more than likely be stressed out and miserable, but they may end up being great at multiple choice assessments.

All your kids are to the school is money they could care less about the kids mental health it is all about the grades to keep the money coming in.

This school was absolutely horrible to my development. 10/10 take your kids elsewhere.

The school is constantly holding activities to try and raise money. The post signs when box tops are due, they force kids to wear uniforms and then sell you a $25 coupon book so you can buy a free dress day, they have santagram and bunnygrams they sell which is a piece of paper with a clip art image printed on it. The book fair catalogs come home every other month, they frequently request random items be sent to school with the student, often with short notice. One Friday my child was chosen as the student of the week which caused him to have extra projects which were due the following Monday along with the other previously assigned projects. Just to get a list of students in the class for birthday party invitations you have to join the PTO and pay minimum of $10. The fundraising efforts are so frequent that it feels like the school is desperate.

I feel very blessed that our children attend Frost Elementary. It is very much like a private school, the children wear uniforms and the Administration is very involved with the students. The PTO provides so much for the school and children that has been reduced from the state. Parent involvement is very active and teachers truly care about their students.

My Daughter's School Samuel Miles Frost Elementary is JUST FABULOUS in all ways. We love this school. The best school in Richmond - Rosenberg area. Wish Frost had extra room for 6th grade onwards. It will be heartbreaking to leave Frost next year when my daughter graduates from Fifth Grade. Awesome School, Awesome Principal, Awesome Vice-Principal and Awesome each and every staff member from the Front office, to teachers and the Fabulous custodians. Everyone at Frost is AWESOME. :)
