Overall, this school has not been great for us. The teaching quality is all over the place. Some great teachers, but some really bad teachers, too, that should not be anywhere near kids. Punitive, shaming approach in some classrooms, and unfortunately, very little real accountability from administration.

This is a great school. The teachers really care and work hard. The principal is a no BS straight up, sleeves rolled up, get in there and get it done kind of lady. Do not pay attention to the "5 out of 10" rating on this site. That is all about numbers from state tests that are completely out of touch with what real learning is about. There are a lot of kids here from lower income families and some who do not speak English. That's a heck of a challenge for these teachers, but they handle it well. The PTA is strong here. The parents really care. My family is white, this school is diverse in ethnicity which is what the real world is and that's what I want for my child from an early age. Go visit this school and you will see what I mean. I myself had doubts about before I actually walked through those doors and saw with MY eyes what is going on here! Bear Pride! We are rocking it!

I just think the world of the leadership at Northrich. The principal, Mrs. Easter, really cares about the children and it shows in the way she leads the school. We also love the counselor, Mrs. Anthony, and all the wonderful staff in the office. My experience at Northrich has been wonderful.

The office staff is HORRIBLE! Very rude and unhelpful. Northrich seems like an ok school but they don't help it at all.
