A lot of bullying and fights at this school and the teachers are mean.

Rude teachers who single out students and are on a constant power trip. Don’t send your kids here. Also had a teacher try and take a student’s personal item and keep it for a week without parents permission, which was never given back because it was magically “lost”.

Coming from someone who actually goes to this school, it sucks, the teachers are mean and the rules don't make sense. The teachers get away with literally everything, a teacher once tried to referral me for not having a pencil.

As an 8th grade student coming from obsidian it is a great school with amazing teachers and staff and perfect opertunitys for learning so much. Spanish teacher mrs.mertz is amazing and you can use those credits for high school

My oldest is a 6th grader this year and school has always come easy to him. He was in for quite a shock this year and had a very hard time staying organized and getting all his work in. The teachers went above and beyond to make sure he was getting extra help, before school, after school, anytime they had they offer to the kids. As a parent I have sent several emails this year with questions and every teacher has responded to my emails the same day. Communication is excellent and the new parent vue system allows me to see how he is doing any day not just at report card or progress report time.
