Their pick up and drop off routine is extremely dangerous. I see kids nearly getting hit almost everyday. They have 3 lanes of car traffic and expect the kids from the far and middle lane to bob and weave thru traffic and depending on all cars to be paying attention. That’s not realistic. There should be one lane of cars. This will eliminate confusion and prevent kids from getting hurt or killed! They also don’t handle unruly kids disrupting the classroom appropriately. Rather than remove 1 disruptive child from the class room they make 20+kids leave the classroom “for their safety”. They stop educating 20+kids over 1 kid having a meltdown. Then when a child is actually injured in the midsts of the meltdown and the child makes known they got hurt not one teacher checked the child or made a phone call to the parent their was an incident in the classroom. At this point educating and keeping kids safe is not a top priority. Yelling at parents and kids in the mornings for not wearing masks or not staying in what they think are magic yellow lines in the parking lot is their top priority.

Free lunch was a huge plus first off. Second the teacher and principals AND all the staff were nothing but super nice and accommodating! This school is truly a diamond in the rough. Reallllll rough

I must agree with the reiview that starts with I Moved.... I too moved because Beech was terrible. The principle Mrs. Stanley was condescending and incompetent. I called and visited that school several times to resolve issues with my child in that school and each time I was met by stupidity. I even involved that superintendent I then felt hopeful about something being done only to disappointed in the end. You may send your child there and have no issues, but be aware that you this is not the best place to send your child if you care about the quality of education for your child. I'm out of that district and though that was my child last year there I did not want to experience Redford District again.

I moved due to this school. The teachers have no support at all from administrative staff. Ron Stone man is a coward man and terrible super intend-ant I emailed him several times over safety concerns ect. and he would not respond. Mrs.Stanly has no business running this school. She hides and covers up problems. Bathroom toilets had seats that weren't attached ect. there was no discipline procedures followed teachers arms were broken gang fights happened daily. All support staff including teachers arent shy to share the terrible conditions of Beech school. I contacted the news over this school. Last year a set full size five foot by five or more lockers fell on an eight year old girl ambulance was there and Mrs. Stanly was informing us it was a pulled fire drill until kids running to her told her what had happened clueless

I love this school. The principal Mrs. Stanley is fantastic with both the parents and children. She is caring and very helpful with problems that we encounter with our grandson, she is always available to help. His teachers have been great, also. I can't say enough nice things about our experience with Beech Elementary.
