This school is a good school, and the teachers are caring thoughtful leaders. I've seen a few family's who have pulled kids out of Red Hook because they don't deal with diverse learning needs well. For us it was a poor experience overall, made passable by some fantastic teachers.

We are in our second year here and have nothing but a wonderful experience. The staff and teachers communicate well, extra help (speech, reading, etc) is available right in school. The Pre-1st program is the best! So happy we opted our son in when he qualified, he has really bloomed in this class and is now ready for 1st grade. Not many schools still offer that program, but for those who need it - it is a God send!
