The children from K - 3rd grade are only ever given reading homework. No math home work, etc. I feel this is a disadvantage from other schools. The first week of school K & 1st graders are only allowed to go two days that first week; however, they are given credit for all five days. The school has an early release every Wednesday at 1:15 - so if that doesn't fit your work schedule then you are left having to find childcare for only one day a week. They are only given approximately 20 minutes for lunch - my children can never eat a meal that fast and are often left having to throw away half of their lunch and going hungry the rest of the day.
