My experience with this school is not a good one, my child has told me they have not learned anything new all year long. Now when your paying tuition to a private school, you would think your child would learn new things, not in this case.Teachers leave left and right and from what I have heard on the street is because of the Head honcho in charge of the school. He's arrogant and thinks he knows it all and does not work well with his peers. Office help is no better. I think in the past 4 years there have been at least 5 office people. Not to mention the numerous tuition managers in and out of the office. For years it was the same people in the office who knew your children and cared for your kids. Not anymore, Munroe is like a revolving door of dropout job applicants. A lot of school traditions that have gone on for years and years have been done away with. No one seems to care this school is going down the drain either. The board certainly could care less or they would not have the Administration in charge that is in there. He is the one ruining the school but they can't see that for whatever reason. Think twice about paying the ridiculous tuition to send your kids here.. seriously anywhere is better than Munroe at this time anyway under his leadership.

There was a time when this school was considered respectable. Notice I said was. Not to be “that person”, but this is one of the worst choices anyone could make for themselves or their children. Teachers drop like flies due to low pay and the expectation of doing work far out of both the job description and their scope of knowledge. The group of core teachers who were here for what seems like forever all dropped out within three years of the arrival of new admin. That’s exactly the issue-the admin. With the addition of a new campus things have only gotten much worse. They are now putting some children out at the old campus which mind you, is extremely unkept. They literally ripped the fencing out of the old campus I suppose to take to the new one. Trees fallen and grass unkept. The new campus is not much better. Looks kinda muddy. This county is certainly not known for great public schools, and that is just what this school is functioning as. Admin is unprofessional. Inappropriate communication boundaries with students. The excitement of the new “principal” created a two year period of excitement and optimism for older Munroe alumni, but all agree now that there was a huge mistake made.

Our son just graduated from Munroe. We brought him to the school after many years in public school. He has done so well at Munroe. He had to work hard, for the first time ever, as they expected a lot more from him. But he has been so much happier. The teachers were amazing. They always cared, emailed me all the time. I am so proud of my son.

My daughter has learned so much since coming to Munroe. She is supported by all the teachers and gets the chance to take a huge number of specialty electives. She is in honors courses but does get accommodates. The kids at the school are so close, being that it is a small school. The school schedules a lot of events to get families involved.

My children love going to this school. Not only is this the best school in Gadsden County, they are providing a higher quality education than any school around:

The fine print….Discrimination, discipline, system of education, attendance, learning disabilities, athletics, dual enrollment, parental input and meetings, your right to view fiscal reports, parental consent, district representation, your voice and your rights are stripped from you by law, the moment you enroll your child into this school. Florida law does not apply to private schools. They can charge whatever they want, apply discounts to whom ever they want and do whatever they want. YOU as a parent have no legal way to protect your child or yourself. When you are discriminated against for income, who you are or are not in the community, race, religion, national origin, age, marital status, or disability, you have NO RIGHTS!!!!! F.S 1002.20, only includes rights for public school students and parents. It is no coincidence, that this school was opened the same year that Gadsden county school were integrating. Know your rights, don’t subject your child to an atmosphere where it is common practice to discriminate.

Really wonderful school that offers good diversity, caring teachers and small class sizes. They believe in hands on learning using technology to prepare the children for college.

I currently have 2 children who attend RFM and I couldn't be happier. The class sizes are small and the staff is great. The overall education I think is wonderful.

I attended Robert F. Munroe from pre-K to twelfth grade and would highly recommend the school. As a current senior in college, I feel like the rigorous middle school and high school curriculum really prepared me for college. Writing papers, giving speeches, participating in labs, and working college algebra problems felt like a breeze because of the way Munroe prepared me. With that being said, I feel as though the school really equips students with the skills and tools they need for higher education. Students from Munroe also leave the school with a great deal of scholarships to pay for college. On the other side of the school, the elementary teachers work tirelessly to prepare students for middle and high school, giving them the foundational skills they need. The most special thing about the elementary teachers though is that they also provide love, care, and what I like to call "life lessons" which you do not find in many schools anymore. All the teachers at Munroe genuinely care for the education and well-being of each and every one of their students. I also like the addition of uniforms to the elementary school. Students aren't focused on apperance, and they look sharp!

I currently have two children that attend Robert F. Munroe. I also have one recent graduate who attends Florida State University Honors and Scholars program. He was very well prepared for college with top scores on the ACT and the SAT. I could not have asked for better teachers and education for my children. Close community, great one on one with teachers, very welcoming to everyone.

This school has been in the community for over 45 years. They have a wonderful, dedicated staff who truly cares about the children's success. Their graduation rates and bright future scholarships numbers are impressive. My family loves it here! Go tour the campus and see why
