    One teacher for 27 students. Do you really think that the teacher is going to be able to teach and provide good care of your kids?

    My older son attends this school and I am very pleased with his experience so far. Not only does he have a genuinely caring teacher, but the other teachers (art and gym) are also very caring and knowledgeable. The front office staff are kind and helpful, the school safety officer is great and genuinely tries to learn all the students' and parents' names, and the school nurse is extremely thorough and detail-oriented, which is a must for my son (he's asthmatic and receives regular asthma treatments from the nurse). I've gone on a few field trips with my son's class and had the opportunity to see how things are run and I'm genuinely impressed. The principal is also very dedicated and available to parents.

    This school was a blessing for my little guy to attend, too bad it only goes up to 1st Grade. The entire staff from the Principal Ms. Saint Juste, the front office, the teachers, the therapists, everyone was amazing and beyond helpful in helping my son grow. He loved every moment of attending this school. I hope we have the same great experience at PS 056 next year, as so far I have been getting mixed reviews about that school.

    PS 51 is just the right size. I find its building welcoming for the little ones. The staff genuinely care for the kids. The curriculum is excellent. My kids education has been enhanced by workshops and field trips. The principal is great -- very knowledgeable and approachable which is very important to me. The parent coordinator is also very interested in parental involvement and does her best to encourage parents to actively participate in their kids' schooling. I am very happy that my kids are at this school.
