I rate this school to be a one for school quality and performance they don't think about the child's individual needs. They question the children about what's happening at home. They worry more of what the parent doing at home instead of giving your child appropriate education.

The faculties and staff are wonderful and very nurturing and caring to the parents and students both the principal and the staffs go above and beyond for the students the principal is very very active in the school you'll never believe she's the principal you'll thing she's a regular staff as compared to other schools and their principal. I deeply appreciate them all for all they do from their hearts for the students and parents and their community. God bless them all.

The school has great leadership and wonderful faculty. They are devoted to taking the school to a higher achievement level. I had a fifth grader graduate from the school with excellent grades on his State ELA and Math. My current Kindergartener is very happy here. I give this school two thumbs up!

My child transferred to this school from another district, mid year. This was suppose to be a wonderful opportunity or so we thought. The teachers constantly yell at the children and "bark" orders. This is a foreign concept for my child because the teachers we had in the past were nurturing and loving. This way of "gaining" control and teaching is not helping. Constant phone calls from the teacher asking for parents to do their job by coming to the school to "police" the matter is a joke. Bullying seems to be the norm and allowed because the matter is not addressed. The methods of discipline used is disgraceful and degrading to both the parents and student. it seems as if the teachers do not have control in the classrooms and many students suffer from the lack of instruction time because of the constant yelling. NYC BOE isn't the greatest but there are other schools out there where your child/ren can receive a proper education without the nonsense. Bill DiBlasio is worried about taking the horses off the streets.. but he needs to address the school system in NYC.

I have a child in this school and what I can say is that the Principal is trying to improve the school. However the teachers in the school are not as good as they should be. They are seldom few teachers in this school that put their best foot forward for the children. Lack of parent participation plays a big part in this school also. This school needs better teachers in the beginning grades to maintain a solid foundation. School can do way better!
