This school is simply excellent. I strongly recommend it as the faculty are dedicated, the overall environment is very positive, and the community is strong. My child has made many friends and really enjoys St. Pius V. The school hosts a strong array of activities and really tries hard to get parents involved. Its a diverse environment too. Tuition is affordable. I can't say enough good things about the academic support. The most recent 8th grade class sent students to many competitive high schools (Classical, LaSalle, etc.) Oh, there are volunteers from Providence College at the school too. There is a high degree of energy at this school... its a good spot for your child.

St. Pius is a good school that we would highly recommend. If St. Pius can stabilize the teacher retention issue, then it would be a great school.

We love St. Pius V and the community. The teachers are wonderful. I told my husband that if we won the jackpot, I would give enough money so the teachers could get a $30,000 raise (not bonus). My kids are challenged academically without being overwhelmed. They also LOVE their teachers. However, what I really appreciate is that my kids learn to respect each other and authority. This learning occurs with great kindness from teachers and administrators.

Our experience has been nothing short of spectacular! Our girls adore their school and my husband and I feel the same. We feel at such ease sending our girls off everyday and consider SPV a second home. The community at SPV is so supportive and all of the families share a common goal of helping and caring. We can’t say enough about our experience there!

I love SPV so much! We have been here for 8 years. I always tell my husband that if we won the powerball, I'd just be driving the kids to SPV from a beach house in Jamestown! Because no amount of money or moving our location would make me take my kids out of this school. The community is so strong. We go to school here, we serve here, we worship in the church... it is everything to us.

I have three children who attended St. Pius V School from Pre-k through 8th grade. Our overall experience was excellent! I can't say enough good things about St. Pius. My children were taught the truth about the Catholic faith, which formed a great partnership with me and my husband. The teachers love and truly care about their students, and the staff was just a loving. My children were very well prepared for the challenging high schools they attended, and were very successful.. I am so thankful for the education my children received. I highly recommend St. Pius V School!

I wish I had done more research regarding the school preschool program before enrolling my child. The teacher had little to no experience in a classroom setting- she was very green to put it mildly- which is detrimental to the children in that she lacked to skills to manage a group of preschoolers effectively. My child is not in a Bright Stars accredited program and thriving.

Upon transferring my children out of a public school, it was apparent that they were behind their classmates educationally. After two years at St Pius they are thriving academically, and surrounded by a diverse group of students. SPV is s great community and I am glad I am able to send my children there.

My son has attended St. Pius for 6 years. The Sisters and Brothers set this school apart with a foundation in love and learning beyond any price tag. There are school sports and great music opportunities. The children get along well across grades and seem polite, respectful and happy.

I originally chose St. Pius V School as a school for my 5 year old son because it came so highly recommended. When I took the school tour they talked about how nurturing they were with their students. Yet, choosing St. Pius V School for my 5 year old son was a big mistake. I am so happy and relieved he no longer attends this school. My son now attends another Catholic school in Providence and he is striving thanks to the love, patience and commitment his kindergarten teacher has for all her students.
