School One is a gem...a place where students and staff get to be themselves, learn from each other, choose classes, and be supported by an intimate community.

School One is a great school. Due to the smaller size the staff is able to really get to know the students and help them develop to there fullest potential. The course offerings are challenging and interesting. What really makes School One successful is the mutuel respect between the staff and students. The staff and curriculum not only prepare them to be successful in college but in life. As a parent I am really happy with the education my son is receiving and the opportunities that he has because of School One. Transferring my son to School One in ninth grade was a life changing experience . All students should have the opportunity to attend a high school of this caliber.

School One has been our daughter's salvation. The teachers encourage students to excel, but are accepting of individual differences. They encourage students to become critical thinkers. Since starting at School One, my daughter enjoys going to school and has not asked me to home school her, something she did daily in the public school she came from. At School One, my daughter is learning how to take responsibility for her own actions and has become a far more confident student. After being bullied at her old school, she is learning how to trust and to enjoy social interactions with her peers. She is accepted for who she is - someone who is smart, creative, kind, and who has a strong social conscience.

School One is a 5 Star school! It's a very academic non rigid high school for students to explore their individual interests and strengths in a non- judgemental warm environment for all types of students.

My son is thriving at School One. Very tolerant of differences, very small classes (4-10 students), engaged faculty who really know him and care about him. The difficulty of the courses varies tremendously, but kids looking for challenge or experience can find it.

The one thing missing from a lot of schools today is the mentoring relationship fostered through the commitment to the student AS THEY ARE. You can only build with what you have and growth can only occur when we start with what we have. School One staff know what their students have. They know where to start, how to continue, and how to get to the end game with power, compassion, and respect. The courses are amazing, they cover subjects one normally can't get to until college. Students are invited to be fully self-expressed; they are physically free in ways not present in public schools. Domination is not a tool at School One, rather collaboration. I love School One.

School One has been a tremendous experience for our family. The teachers are terrific, always going the extra mile to help students. They keep parents informed on a personal basis when there are issues. Advising has also been excellent. I recommend School One without reservation.

While I believe School One helped me greatly through my high school career, I could not help but notice the change over the years that I have been present for . Focus now seems to be on bringing in more of a diverse crowd as well as students of all mental capacities. While this is a good goal, I feel as if it becomes more of a distraction in the classroom. I'm saddened to see such a great educational experience get ruined because of these distractions .
