One of the biggest advantages of this small school is the fact that students are provided with more personalized instruction by teachers. My child struggled with basic learning skills but has made big strides because of the hard work, kindness and support from his teachers. The principal continues to make the school the cornerstone of this small community through tradition and integrity. Kudos to this leader for pushing and maintaining a stable school environment in the post-pandemic world! This is no easy feat. I only wish more leaders and educators took such ownership and emphasized the importance of learning, engagement, accountability, and empathy. Lastly, the coaches for the sports teams are driven and compassionate. If you want a quality experience for your kids, this is the place to go.

This school is awful. It is all about favoritism and bullying to get your way. If you want your kids to thrive go somewhere else there is nothing here for them but headache. Principal is a joke and kicks out anyone that doesn’t agree with her. Just close it already so they might have a productive high school experience that might prepare them for something.

3 of my kids have graduated from Proctor HS class of 2009 , 2012 , 2017 and now my youngest 4 are attending ! It's a wonderful school with a caring staff and individual learning plans that can't be beat ! My kids loved they're time they spent at Proctor Jr/Sr High-school .

This school has been struggling for several years, but the current principal has created an extremely unhealthy environment that is riddled with favoritism and prevents safe and adequate learning from taking place. If you appreciate having a principal who targets specific students, blatantly admits it in writing, and the superintendent allows the behavior to continue likely because they can't get a decent candidate to apply for the role so they have to take the bottom of the barrel, then this is the school for you. I would no sooner recommend this school than let my own children continue in an environment like this that breeds and provokes unhealthy and unsafe behaviors from students and staff.

It is with great regret that I must express my deep disappointment with the Principal of this educational institution. Despite her role as a leader, it is clear that this individual engages in favoritism towards certain students, while neglecting to hold them accountable for their actions. This, in turn, has led to an unhealthy and toxic environment for both students and staff. Moreover, it is evident that the Principal adjusts policies to suit her own needs, rather than considering what is in the best interest of the school and its students. This level of self-serving behavior is simply unacceptable in a person charged with such a vital responsibility.Regrettably, the principal's actions have caused great harm to the school, to the point where it would be in the best interest of all involved for the institution to close. The lack of accountability, the toxic atmosphere, and the blatant favoritism that pervades the institution are simply untenable and cannot be allowed to continue. It is my hope that the school's governing board takes swift and decisive action to address these concerns, in order to ensure that the future of this institution is not further jeopardized by the poor leadership of the Principal.

Our kids have thrived in every way in this small school. They have played varsity sports, participated in band, drama and have received an excellent academic background. Two of our kids are now in highly competitive universities and find themselves well prepared for the challenges of college. Two more of our kids are still at Proctor following in their siblings footsteps. While nothing is perfect, Proctor HS is exactly why we moved to town many years ago, and it has given us all that we hoped to receive.

I have had 4 kids go through this school. Each one played 4 years and 3 seasons of varsity sports. Each one participated in band, and each one graduated with an excellent academic background. Every child was different but each one received a great foundation and Proctor. Each child was well prepared for a competitive college environment. A school cannot solve every child's problems, but it can do its best to provide every child opportunity. That is what PHS did for my kids in a small school safe, supportive environment. It is exactly what we signed up for when we moved to Proctor more than 20 years ago.
