I attended Beazley for my entire elementary school years. There were good experiences and bad experiences. I remember getting in trouble for petty things when I was in kindergarten by the assistant principal at the time. I had teachers who were very bitter towards me unprovoked. I wasn’t a disrespectful student but I was always treated unfairly. Fear tactics were definitely used on kids here, teachers picked favorites and treated kids who weren’t their favorite lower. The school population is very diverse with a big range of different cultures. I didn’t have to worry about being bullied by my peers but I did have to worry about being picked on by my teachers and other adults working here though.

My daughter attended this school in 2016 she was in fifth grade there if not for the superintendent of schools this school would not have welcome my daughter because she was in between homes,I was working but did not earn enough to support my family so because my niece was stationed in prince George county I asked her to take her in until I could find a home for her she and her husband agreed and the place on base where they lived welcomed her because of my situation but when it came for her to go to school my niece took her to Beazley they told me she could not attend their School and they where not friendly at all until I went to the school administration office and explained my situation I guess being homeless this school looks down on children like this ,and probably thought that I lived off the system also this was not why she was homeless it was because my income though I was not on the system did not meet with the rent requirements I needed to make more than the rent .anyway they failed her her teacher was very rude and very mean to her when they called me at the end of the school year to let me know that she was going to be sat back I told them that's ok I would send her to summer school to get some help her teacher rudely said out of her mouth there is no help for her what kind of teacher would say such a thing about a child.I would have said something but my niece kids still had to get through this school .I brought my daughter back with me she was making the grade she has been an an honor roll student for the vest years since then she even joined a program to help other girls who was struggling with school to stay in there and try harder even when someone else tells you that you can't you say to your self yes I can no matter how long it takes this is my success story and I'm going to own it.

I had 4 kids going to this school and the staff became family! My children and I are moving and is very sad to know my youngest son wont be able to attend this beautiful school and this amazing staff. The staff had worked so much to be able to give the students what they need and to see them work through this difficult times (Covid -19) to see the hard work the love they show to each other and the love and care for the children I can say that I really recommend this school.

Our family loves Beazley. My son is in 3rd grade and has been with them since kindergarten. The only thing I don't like is the open style campus. All of the teachers and staff have been great to us. Including the office staff and medical dept.

My daughters first year here, and so far she loves it. Her teacher is great, and so far all staff that I have interacted with have been great and engage well with all kids. My only complaint would be the ladies in the office. Each one is so rude, unwelcoming, and as if they don't want bothered. If your going to work in a school office interacting with children and parents all day, then maybe they should learn some professionalism and some manners, when someone says "thank you", it's usually polite to say it back. I understand if you've had a bad day but it has been every time I've come in contact with them they are completely rude. I would suggest someone retraining them with dealing with others or finding other assistants who will be more helpful and welcoming.

The school overall is a great school. The teachers my son has had have been absolutely amazing. However, there is one office lady (not the first one you get to) is extremely rude. I can not stand calling up there even for the most simple things, ie:getting a teachers email address. She needs to learn to be less rude. She should not be able to answer phones. She's the only reason I don't give the school 5 stars! Everyone has bad bays but not all the time. Other than that I wouldn't want to put my son anywhere else!

2015-2016 school year was my daughters first year in this county. It took some adjustment but these teachers teach. Every subject my daughter grasped without a second thought, I'm so glad I transferred her here. Looking forward to what 2016-2017 has to offer my rising 5th grader.

I have been very pleased with the teachers and education my daughter has received this year attending Beazley. Her teacher communicates with me very well on a daily basis. However, the office staff is not very pleasant to be around. They do their jobs, but not very social personalities. My daughter is looking forward to the next school year with Beazley. Awesome teachers!

As a representative of the Beazley PTAC (Parent and Teacher Advisory Committee), I am writing to congratulate L.L. Beazley School on being selected as a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. Beazley is one of only 7 public schools in Virginia that was awarded this distinction. Parents and students here at Beazley are so excited at achieving such an honor. This can only be accomplished through classroom instruction at its best, having high student expectations, and building relationships between teachers and students. We, as teachers, are fortunate to have the support and cooperation of our parents, and we, as parents, are appreciative of the hard work and encouragement of our teachers and the entire L.L. Beazley Staff. The office staff from the secretaries, guidance, and building administrators all go out of their way to help us make Beazley a wonderful place to attend, visit, and work. We all feel privileged and fortunate that we attend what we feel is the best school in Prince George County. Parents and teachers working together, L.L. Beazley PTAC

I'm so glad that they redistricted us to South Elementary. While we were at Beazley I had my concerns, but once my children moved to South I had something to finally compare and realized just how horrible Beazley was! The office staff could care less that you were there, much less to try to assist you. Their unfriendly demeanor made you feel very unwelcome. If a parent is unwelcome, then how must the poor children feel! Couldn't be happier that we moved to South!!!

Although everyone is entitled to their opinion I just want to say I adore the new A.P. It is nice to see someone who smiles and at least appears to like her job. She is always professional and I am at the school quite frequently --I see her giving more hugs than I would...do you hug your child at home? However, the office staff could be a little friendlier. And does the guidance counselor ever offer any guidance?

What happened to the other lady assistant principal? I liked her better than the one that's there now! The other one always hugged my kid and spent time with her. I miss her! This one...attitude...ugh!

I agree the office staff at Beazley truly needs to take professionalism 101 again! They are rude in person and over the phone! Over all I love the Prince George County Public school system. I don't particulary enjoy my son attending an old out dated open campus school. Beazley and Walton are open campus schools and this makes it difficult to combat colds during the winter months or rainy days! This year as been a challange do to my son having a sub for several months but overall I am able to openly communicate my concerns with his teacher and she is usually pretty good with responding.

We were very pleased with the school and teachers during our short 1.5 years at L.L. Beazley. My child's teachers were very nice and friendly to students and parents. They encouraged parent communication and held the student responsible for their academic success as well. I was not very happy with the amount of homework however. There would be many tearful nights by my child over an hour or two of homework. I'm not sure if they still do that much homework, but then again it depends on the student as well. Regardless of homework, my child excelled in her grades and since we've moved to another state, she continues to excel as she enters higher grades.

Beazley is the best school ever! My family and I felt so welcomed and supported from the very beginning when it came to the needs of our children. I must say they went over and above in assisting us with the enrollment process in the office to selecting the teacher that was the best fit for our child, and the overwhelming support and dedication of the classroom teachers, even the campus is one of the most beautiful and well manicured as compared to the numerous schools our children have attended over the years. It is obvious the entire Beazley family has great pride in their school.

As a teacher here at Beazley, I take offense to the assistant principal comment. The administration at Beazley is "top-notch"! Both the principal and assistant principal establish an open door policy and support the parents, students and the teachers to the fullest! Leadership reflects attitude! Here at Beazley we have outstanding test scores, motivated teachers, and happy students! Without the direction and supervision of our adminstration, we couldn't provide the students a safe and caring environment that allows our students to thrive.. I wouldn't teach anywhere else!

While there is alot of good things to talk about at this school, I must say the principal is so wonderful. I see no use for the assistant principal.

I love Beazley. I have 2 kids at the school and couldn't be happier. They are super military friendly and understand our special circumstances. The administrators are very friendly and they have great teachers! I couldn't have been happier with a school. They welcome parent involvement and just have a great program all around.

Great school! Wonderful teachers! My kids love their teachers and you know what they say...happy kids makes for a happy mom! As a parent, I appreciate being able to speak directly with one of the principals when I have a concern. That's not always been my experience.
