This is a great school. I have two children that have graduated from Painted Rock and they had a wonderful time. We have always had great interactions with the teachers and very happy with the school staff. We are excited that our third child will be starting kindergarten this year after a successful TK experience at Painted Rock. I recommend this school for all.

Above all, the school atmosphere is warm and friendly.Among the elementary schools in the Poway Unified School District (PUSD), it is a public school attended by high-income families and operates various programs.

This is a wonderful public school. Parents are very involved and the goal is for all of the kids to have a great elementary school experience. Academics are top notch. We are lucky to be at this school.

We are blessed we have found Painted Rock. We are having an amazing experience. My son learned so much and most importantly he loves his school!

This school seemed average for the first 2 years my child attended. Now this year the school decided to have a teacher shared class and it has been the worst possible class for my child. Both teachers are so disconnected from the students because they are only part-time in the class weekly. I hope to see an improvement next year for my child or we will pull from this over-hyped school that is now on their 3rd principal in 3 years.

Painted Rock is a fantastic public school. Every teacher that my girls have had is great...very caring, involved and passionate about their jobs. I haven't had a bad experience yet. My kids have been flourishing here after transferring from a school with teachers that were checked out.

Up until this school year, when a new Principal came to the school, things were wonderful for my interracial family. When the new Principal came in, my family was mistreated and abused. The Principal refused to allow my husband to participate at school, ignored our attempts to meet with her, and called the police in our family more multiple times. The Painted Rock teachers are amazing but this Principal has brought this school down and until she is removed from get position, I'm afraid this school will continue to deteriorate.

The teachers and parents make this school a top notch environment. My kids are so happy and excited to go to school everyday.

This school is AMAZING! The parent participation is one of the highest in the county. The funding from the Foundation and PTA is over $250 per student per year. This allows for extra programs such as a full time PE teacher, music instruction, reading specialist, student services specialist, Compass Learning, extensive teacher supply budgets, etc... The principal has an open-door policy at all times. The teachers are motivating and fun. The extra programs that this school offers are endless. We have had our kids in 3 other schools throughout the years and Painted Rock, hands down, is the best!
