I am overly ecstatic from the education my child is receiving from Posen Elementary, even though classes are being conducted online because of the pandemic. I cannot be more satisfied with what I am hearing when my child attending class online. The teachers truly care for their students and I can tell it is their main priority to see them succeed. After seeing the two reviews that brought this school rating down, I had to voice my opinion. I hope other parents begin to review this school so the rating will increase; you cant base everything on a one star review from 5 years ago. I would highly recommend this district to any of my friends, and I trust the education being provided to my child.

I was very unhappy with the teaching methods and teachers when my daughter was in the 4th grade. But after talking with the principal with promises of everything would be much better the following year, I allowed my daughter to stay there. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE!!! Nothing was better. As a matter of fact, it was worst. She will not be a part of this school district again!!!!!

The curriculum and teaching methods are lacking probably due to the economic problems with the district. Overall, this school has funding issues and because it does not utilize other resources within the community, it will continue to suffer. This school does not welcome parent participation. The management staff needs to build consistency throughout the organization while including resources within the community. Morover, there is little organization and planning skills among management. The disorganization of the management team is very apparent across the entire school. There are a few good teachers at the school but the staff overall is just doing it for a paycheck and does not have a passion for teaching.
