My daughter went here for 6 of the most important and enriching years of her school experience. The entire school is so committed to their students -and parents too. I cannot say enough good things really. My daughter was and is developmentally challenged and has ADHD, but they kept her with her peers and helped her in and outside of class. She felt a special part of the community, loved and cared for and supported in many ways. The diversity of the community is the strength of the school in many ways. I can't imagine a better environment to grow and learn and develop in. The new construction and renovations going on will really help in many of the ways they excel and expand their impact as educators. We were blessed beyond words. Thank you Presumpscot!

This is an Expeditionary Learning school, and the teachers spend so much time coordinating the EL curriculum for the whole school--they go above and beyond!Children are taught respect, responsibility and community engagement. They are not only teaching math, reading, etc., they are teaching kids to be good humans. The new principal has shown excellent leadership, especially through COVID-19. The Family Council is engaged and active. I love this school!

The school is falling apart, crowded and test scores are abysmal. Kids are forced to learn in trailers from the 1980s. No one would choose to go here if they had another option.

This school is more than just educating children in math and reading. They do expeditionary learning, they learn to work together in groups, they learn to problem solve, and they learn to respect everyone in this very diverse school. The principal knows what is going on with every child in this school and does follow up when anyone expresses concerns. Our child for instance was having a difficult time learning something and although she didn't qualify for special education, her teacher, Ms. Loring and a special education teacher went out of their way to make accommodations. Other schools may not have done this. The accommodations completely helped and our daughter is now thriving.

Most of the teachers are great. Some not so much. Principal is very fake, politician nice. She is pretty easy to deal with as long as things are on her terms, but as soon as something isn't, she is extremely difficult. She seems to approach every situation talking about how much she cares, then shows very little caring in everything she follows up with in words and actions.

My grandsons both went to Presumpscot and the teachers there are wonderful. The teachers used their own money for school supplies. They go the extra mile for the kids.
