When I went to this school, I felt connected to my peers around me and teachers would always be there for you even if they were going through a rough time on their own. There were many fun activities such as movie nights and engaging field trips, allowing the child brain to develop new skills in different subjects (social and academically). I spent all K-5 here and it was amazing so I would definitely recommend this school to parents.

Talbot (previously known as Riverton) Elementary is a very good school. The teachers and administrators really put a lot of effort into making the school a great place for kids. It also has a big campus with lots of outdoor space and a brand new playground. Which was very helpful during COVID as a lot of lessons were taught outside to reduce potential exposure.I originally had my daughter in a private school and we took her out to put her in Riverton. We have loved it. Highly recommend it.

I am a college educator and have two children enrolled at Riverton. The teaching staff and administration have been nothing but fabulous. Keep in mind that test scores are more a reflection of the student population and not about the quality of the education. The staff at Riverton are dedicated to the meeting the needs of the students that they serve. And you could not ask for a more diverse student body, which I find to be a beautiful thing. Education takes place not only in the classroom, but also on the playground and with children's peers. Riverton lays a foundation for children to not only succeed academically, but also socially.

My first-grader has loved every single day of school since he started at Riverton as a Kindergartener. His reading, writing, and math have really taken off! This school has some really great teachers and a diverse student body. It's not surprising that its test scores aren't as high as other schools, since so many of its students are English Language Learners, and they must take the tests, too. Even so, the latest test scores are way up, and the school has new leadership. Come visit!

I am a proud Riverton parent and community member. I have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader and both are succeeding academically and socailly. Our school is filled with lovely children from pre-K to grade 5 and we have the hardest working teachers in the district. Riverton School welcomes anyone to come in and take a tour. They would be happy to answer any questions from any parent in the area.

My 2nd grader just started here and I volunteer two days a week in his classroom. Other then the issue of security, this school is turning out to be a good school. They have a learningworks after school program which is a huge plus!
