My daughter has been attending AA Gates since PreK, this year she will be in second grade. Her teachers have been caring and always keep us informed of her strengths and weaknesses. I have the means to send her to a private school, but we've been more than satisfied with her progress so far.

Too many politics play part in this school to the point where it inhibits students from learning. The camaraderie and overall school spirit was at an all time low when I attended (2007 grad). The sports programs are ill funded and there is little pride or enthusiasm from a majority of the athletes and it is mostly due to the poor coaching (girls varsity basketball for example). School enrollment has dipped from 1200 total (k-12) to around 800 in just the past 7 years for a reason. Would not recommend sending a child to Port Byron.
